What We Do

Our Mission

To identify, value and promote the natural and cultural assets in Armenian villages and turn them into tangible opportunities

Why?

Armenian villages suffer from massive depopulation and poverty - with 35% of Armenian citizens living in poverty.

We believe in the potential of the villages and in their unique nature, culture and people.

1. We Bloom Armenian Villages

By “Blooming Armenian villages” we mean organizing a set of pragmatic actions and goals to improve the quality of life in villages and enhance their attractiveness. These actions include:
  • cleaning villages
  • improving private and public spaces
  • planting trees and flowers
  • enhancing environmental awareness among the villagers, especially among youngsters…
All these actions are organized thanks to the expertise of foreign and local experts to ensure the quality and the sustainability of everything we do.

While we have the expertise of professionals and the precious contributions of volunteers, these goals cannot be accomplished and maintained without the strong involvement and willingness of local communities.

2. We support local sustainable projects

The winning villages of the contest will be awarded the label of “Blooming Armenia” and will be granted the funding for a local sustainable project in one of our three target fields:
  • Ecotourism
  • Agro-business
  • Environment
During the Blooming phase of the contest, we will help villages to identify their potential in these 3 fields and formalize their ideas/project proposals.

You can be a part of making these changes for the villages possible by your kind donations
